STILL GROWING IN FINAL HOURS

As I write this update, there are just a few hours left before the Edgar Rice Burroughs VISIONS OF ADVENTURE campaign ends. But it is still an active project! Yesterday we hit the 18th Stretch Goal and this morning we hit the 19th Stretch Goal! 

Now the INSPIRATIONS OF ADVENTURE book, presenting rare art from my collection, is a whopping 52 pages and I have added a digital copy of my fanzine, NUCLEUS #3*4 to your rewards! This features an article by Bill Canty on the "Mysterious Swordsman of Edgar Rice Burroughs." It is a very interesting examination of just how John Carter travels between planets. And it is also notable for the first published illustration of John Carter by Mark Wheatley from 1970. 

Our next Stretch Goal is #20 and will add 10 more pages to the VISIONS OF ADVENTURE digital sketch book. We are not that far from the goal. Your support could put us over!

The EDGAR RICE BURROUGHS VISIONS OF ADVENTURE Portfolio

I hope all of you are staying safe and healthy! 

I'm back with a new ERB project that I'm sure will interest many of my fine supporters for SONGS OF GIANTS.

I know we are all deep fans of the Master of Adventure, Edgar Rice Burroughs. And The central reward for this new campaign is the Edgar Rice Burroughs VISIONS OF ADVENTURE portfolio. The Special Edition of this portfolio comes in an illustrated folder, and now holds twelve rich-color plates on beautiful high-quality 100lb stock. The portfolio will be issued in an edition limited to 500, with at least four plates now to be signed by the artist. For all backers of this Kickstarter campaign, the folder will also be signed. When stretch goals are met, bonus prints and additional signed plates will be added to the portfolio. And that has already happened. In fact, thanks to all my supporters, the campaign has been doing great. We were fully  funded in less than 6 hours! Over 200% already. We have hit 7 Stretch  Goals so far. And I just do not want any of you to miss out.

SONGS OF GIANTS WINS ROBERT E. HOWARD FOUNDATION AWARD

I am stunned to announce that the book that all of you helped me to create has won the Valusian Award given by the Robert E. Howard Foundation each year for Outstanding Achievement. This award was for the best book anthology.

My humble thanks all of you for your help and to the Robert E.  Howard Foundation for this recognition. SONGS OF GIANTS has been a major passion project for me. I have long loved the works by Robert E. Howard, Edgar Rice Burroughs and H. P. Lovecraft. Illustrating their poetry has been a high point for me.
