WE HAVE A PRODUCTION LINE! (If you include Carol and the cats!)
With Carol's help, we are very near to having all the books packed to ship. BackerKit should be delivering the mailing labels shortly. I expect to have the majority of your rewards shipped out by Tuesday of next week. So if you have NOT filled out your survey, do it now! Also, digital rewards will be posted next week, at about the same time the books take their journey to the Post Office. You will get a notice.

THE BOOKS ARE HERE!
Here is a preview of the SONGS OF GIANTS book. We are still jumping through a few BackerKit hoops, and awaiting the last few backers to respond to the survey. Meanwhile:
It is very important that you respond to the Survey as quickly as you can. When the books arrive I will be spending a good deal of time packing and attaching the mailing labels to your packages. I want to get it right! And we need your information to do that. There will be a limited time period that I can devote to shipping your rewards. My convention season is about to kick in. I will be traveling for nearly two months. I don't have a staff! And if I'm not here I can't ship. So if you miss filling the form out, it could greatly delay the arrival of your package, and no one wants that to happen!
You should have received at least one eMail from us with a special link to your BackerKit Survey this past week. Some of you may have received two! It’s important to respond to your Survey as quickly as you can since I need this information to fulfill your rewards.
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your Survey. When you receive the eMail with the Survey, click the Survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this Survey link yet, but it will be available soon via eMail!
After you respond to your BackerKit Survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the Surveys and get our final counts. Surveys will close on June 21st. But we will be shipping before that. So don't wait to fill our your Survey.

BOOKS SHIP FROM THE PRINTER THIS WEDNESDAY!
SONGS OF GIANTS is almost a reality! The printed books depart the printer on Wednesday and begin their journey to Maryland. And that has set several other wheels into motion.
First up - Backer Surveys will be going out almost concurrent with this update. So watch your eMail. It is very important that you respond to the Survey as quickly as you can. CLOSER TO REALITY!
As each day passes, SONGS OF GIANTS comes closer to a tangible reality. The book has been delivered to the printer. The signing plates were all signed (1100 of them!) Sketches were done for the AP and EX editions. And the signing plates were shipped to the printer where they are now ready to be bound into the books, once the books are printed.
At this point, I have seen the proofs for the entire book and after a few minor adjustments, the books has been approved for printing.
Here is the printing proof for the covers and spine of SONGS OF GIANTS. Even though you can't really see how the metallic ink appears, you can at least get a hint of the final effect.
But that's not all! I have also gotten all our stretch goals printed and signed. The two art prints are signed and packaged. The portrait set of our three Masters of Pulp Poetry has been packaged and signed. Even the portfolio of mini-prints has been packaged and signed! Nearly another 1000 signatures! My hand hurts!
So we are now waiting for the books to be delivered from the printer. We are still on track to have the books here to begin shipping by the second week of June. And I can't wait to have a copy in my hand! But even more, I can't wait until you have a copy in your hands!
Meanwhile, the BackerKit store is still being set up. I have been told to expect the store to go active this coming week, finally! And we will be sending out the surveys at about the same time. So be on the lookout for the surveys and please fill those out as soon as you can.
